One more terrorist attack and another compensation announcement by beloved CM of Maharashtra.
Honorable CM sahib has been generous and announced the compensation package for those killed. I just wonder how would he or any other politician feel while signing the compensation if the people died would have been there own family members? What will be the feeling…will it be pity or rage?
I really would like to know how much price they would like to pay for their loved ones?
We can understand and we also sympathize with state government.
The biggest task at hand was safeguarding MNIK release. Mr. Khan's movies becomes supreme responsibility. And in the line of this supreme duty, few innocent people died in Pune and our dear government has come forward with a 'package'.
Indian runs on packages. If there is any issue be it farmer's suicide, people affected by flood or any other calamity or acts of terrorism, our state has simple solution to it.
Get killed and we will pay your family! But we will not resolve the problem from the root.
We will not do anything to ensure such barbaric incidents do not happen again but we will pay if something bad happens.
To a logical mind it sounds fine. After all for any inconvenience caused (forget about the magnitude and impact on economy of the country) government is doling out money to the citizens. But then the question which bothers us : Is it a sustainable practice? This time also you do not take any concrete action. It will give indication to people across the border (whom Mr. Khan and others like him consider as best of friends) we can get away with anything, lets be more ambitious and do something on a large scale. What will government do if we face a terrorist attack of the magnitude faced by US few years back? 2000 X 5lacs rupees is a mind boggling number. How if numbers are much more? I am sure government must have taken this into consideration and must have started keeping funds aside for the D day!
How long we will live in fear and prepare ourselves to be ready to die in any cafe, cinema hall or street?
Is it worth to live that way? What's the point of paying taxes to the government which cannot safeguard the life of its citizens? Money paid by us goes in giving VIP treatment to Kasab and Afzals and off course safe and sure screening of Mr. Khan's movie.
I am sure in coming few days we will have our great Journalists (they too are our STARS) boasting and trying to beat each other in bringing forth the resilience of Pune (the so called spirit has moved my Mumbai to Pune and so has the coverage. I am sure they have high dreams to cover this spirit all across India and pretend everything is FINE).
Media and our Politician don't realize, people who are in trouble and in pain do not have anything else to do. They have families to feed, they can't afford a ceremonial mourning (at the expense of citizen's money) like the one we have when some wretched politician dies!
I love my country and I am also ready to die. I am not going to sit at home and mourn. I will go out to work and feed my family. I will follow all the rules and regulations. I will pay my taxes on time because I believe in the constitution of this country and I am a dreamer and I hope that everything will be fine one day..that good sense will prevail!
Anyways on a lighter note being a sucker of quizes! let me ask you this what is the safest outdoor activity to do in India???
Yes, you guessed it right!
It is watching MNIK!
Mr. Khan's generosity has assured that watching MNIK with family and friends is the safest thing to do. After all terrorist also understand how to thank people who are ready to help people belonging to the country who helps them! What a connection baap!
